Our home remains in Chesapeake, VA and we now reside in Richmond, VA with our new business.  I have spent a lot of time reading and educating myself for our clients.  My son and I love the ocean and a town home on the lake.  Watching wildlife is my passion, its peaceful, I also like photography.  My son Eric likes surfing and spending time on the Chesapeake.  Owning your own business is very demanding but we love our clients and helping them improve their lives with Good Feet is the greatest reward one could have.  Mary has been fitting for arch supports for 8 years.

1.) Will Good Feet arch supports go in all shoes?
Yes!  We have a 3 step program which provides comfort, support and balance.  You can wear your own shoes without changing sizes.  Athletic, high heels, causal, dress, bedroom slippers, even sandals and flip flops.

2.)Will Good Feet arch supports help with feet, back and knee pain?
Absolutely, we have 4 arches in the foot, Good Feet arch supports all 4 arches unlike shoes that have a sock liner that is usually flat or one that appears to have an arch.  Even if you foot is flat, you need support.

3.) Do I need an appointment to come in?
No appointment is necessary, but for store hours or directions please call the location nearest you.

4.) Does the arch supports help your balance?
Yes!  Most people don't understand the bio-mechanics of the body.  Properly fitted with Good Feet arch supports will balance you, returning energy back to the body.  Simply get off the couch or chair if you struggle, that burns a lot of energy.  When walking your feet are simple trying to hold you up and move you forward.  If your feet are not supported the frame of your body will feel

5.) What is plantar fasciitis?
Plantar fasciitis in inflammation of the tissue on the bottom of the foot where the arch meets the heel.  The bottom of the foot is the plantar surface, the fascia is a type of ligament that attaches from the hell to the ball of the foot.  When bearing weight an unbalanced foot creates tension and pain at the attachment of the fascia on the heel bone.  Good Feet arch supports cup the heel, support the arch, and relieve tension allowing the person to resume normal activities.

8.) What if I find discomfort with the Good Feet Arch Supports after purchase?
We want all of our customers to be happy.  We have over 300 different sizes and 23 different types.  In 30 days we will be happy to re-size and re-fit at no additional charge.

9.) Do you do children's arch supports?
Yes, starting at the age of 6 until the age of 18 we have a youth arch support program.  Every 4 to 6 months as the child grows we have them return for another imprinting and sizing.  Did you know that your childs feet may be a mirror image of yours?  So listen up parents when you tell your kids it's only growing pains, it just might be their feet.
